St.Stephen/Holy Family is working with Catholic Charities this Advent season. You are invited to signup for our Giving Tree programs as our family of faith during this season of charity, hope and joy as we provide Christmas gifts for children and young people in our area who are in need. Please bring your unwrapped gifts with the Giving Tree information securely attached to the gifts. The gifts should be placed by the tree in the Church by December 11th at 12:00pm.
Thank you so much for your support.
... whatsoever you do for the least of my people, that you do for me.
- Matthew 25:40
Neighbor Helping Neighbor and the Saint Vincent de Paul Society are two organizations which assist those in need in our local community. These two groups offer assistance to individuals and families on a person to person basis; and carries out its ministry by providing as much direct emergency assistance to those referred as resources allow. This takes the form of food, clothing, and household items. When longer-term assistance is necessary, referrals are made to appropriate public or private agencies. Neighbor Helping Neighbor Outreach has only one eligibility requirement - that the people seeking assistance are in need of such help. People’s needs are met regardless of age, sex, race, creed, or ethnic background. All referrals made to Neighbor Helping Neighbor should be made through the Saint Stephen's Rectory or the Holy Family Rectory. Requests can also be made by placing a written request in a Neighbor helping Neighbor boxes at the entrances of the church.
Contact either Saint Stephen Rectory at 508-755-3165 or the Holy Family Parish Rectory at
508-754-6722, if you would like to help in these important ministries.
